Hubs got a crisis call at 2:30 in the morning and was still gone when I was leaving for work, which caused me to over sleep, which equaled a glasses day.
How far along: 29 weeks! We are entering some pretty high digits here.
Baby is the size of a: butternut squash. He is approximately 15 inches long- isn't that amazing?!?
Maternity clothes: I'm liking my variety and having more options.
Food cravings: Just today I had a brief craving for my mom's Mexican rice.
Anything make you queasy or sick: No.
Miss anything: Feeling rested.
Boy or Girl: Boy :)
Movement: Baby is getting a lot more powerful! A couple days this week it seemed like his foot was almost pushing against my hip bone and then I felt some punches or kicks in my ribs. I felt hiccups for the first time! My sister in-law had asked if I felt hiccups yet but I didn't know what they felt like. She said they are very rhythmic moments that come at the same pace. The other night I was watching a movie (Father of the Bride Part II- how appropriate) with my sister and I felt the hiccups :)
Best moment this week: Getting to spend lots of time with family.
Worst moment this week: Feeling completely emotionally and physically drained. I am beyond exhausted and desperately need a break- but I can't have one.
Best kid comment about the baby this week: I was hardly in school this past week so there has not been too much discussion around the little man.
Other tidbits: Nightly bathroom trips are becoming more and more frequent, just in case you wanted to know.
How have I been feeling: Super tired- but that may be due to a lot of factors: busyness of the past week, and the hubs has been feeling pretty sick and has this nasty cough that keeps him up almost all night long. Since I am a light sleeper, that means that I am also up almost all night long.
Looking forward to: Resting this weekend.
Countdown: 2 1/2 weeks until shower #1!!!
