Choo-Choo!

Today we took a little family trip 10 minutes up the road to the Southeastern Railway Museum. Zach has been into trains for a while now [spoiler alert for upcoming birthday!] so we thought it would be fun to check out this museum. We didn't actually read too much about this history of all the trains, but we had a blast looking at all the trains, stepping inside them and looking around and watching other trains go by. I'm sure we will be back again, and next time go on an actual train ride!

mom and james hung out the whole time!

we haven't mastered the selfie with 4 yet ;)

as we were walking back on these tracks, my brother called me and supposedly some lady was yelling at me for a good couple of minutes telling me to get off the tracks so she could take a picture. excuse me.

Month in Pictures: February

I was looking back through pictures on my phone and I realized that I have a lot of pictures that I never really share like I used to on this blog. I am lucky enough if I have time to write monthly updates. I really don't have the time or energy to write detailed blogs about specific things that we have been up to recently. So I had a brilliant beyond brilliant idea to share our lives the past month in pictures. I think I am going to do this every month. So here is February! I may even back track and do January at some point :)

We woke up one Tuesday morning and it was snowing big flakes with a light coating on the ground! I was so excited that I told Justin he had to take Zach out in the snow so he could play in the snow for his first time. My husband's response, "I'm from California. We don't do that." So I passed the baby off to the hubs and went out for some quality snow time with Zach! He LOVED it! We had fun making snow balls, building mini-snowmen, trying to catch the snowflakes on our tongue and enjoying the snow!
